Selene Is Here To Comfort And Guide You

Selene Vega

PhD Candidate, licensed psychotherapist (CA MFC #32604.

I've led individuals and groups into healing and transformative experiences since 1972, combining movement work with hypnotherapy to address issues including addictions and eating disorders.

I've been dancing since early childhood, studying ballet, modern dance, ethnic dance forms, theater, yoga and pilates. My work with movement evolved over many years of teaching dance technique and developing approaches that explore movement possibilities with a variety of populations.

Bringing my experience with movement and expressive arts to the addictions field, I have helped develop the eating disorders program in a psychiatric hospital specializing in addictions.

I have shared my experience and knowledge with graduate students and practicing therapists through seminars in Movement Therapy at J.F.K. University, and to naturopathic physicians in training at Bastyr University, in addition to many years of teaching workshops for therapists, coaches, yoga teachers, and other helping professionals as well as anyone interested in growing and transforming their lives.
